Post-Tribune editors respond

This is satisfying to see.  It’s in response to letters written concerning an article in the NW Indiana Post-Tribune (see below, “Corps betrayal spreads to Indiana”).

Here’s what Post-Tribune editors put in their Nov. 16 editorial:

The Army Corps of Engineers apparently became squeamish about pledging protection from flooding after its system of levees failed in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. Citizens in New Orleans maintain that those levees did not perform to the capacity the Corps is legally required to satisfy.
